Wild card Leon Haslam completed a difficult weekend at his home venue. As he was ninth at the end of Race 1, the British rider crashed out in Race 2 while he was battling for the lead. He rejoined the race but at lap 8 he was finally forced to retire missing the chance to finish the weekend with a strong result as he was proving to be able to do.
For Hikari Okubo in WorldSSP Donington Round will be one to forget. After a strong performance that saw him conquering the fifth spot on the grid in Superpole 2, the Japanese was unfortunate in the race as he crashed out in the early stages while he was battling at the front. Sheridan Morais, who struggled all the weekend stopping his bike in the tight corners, finished with a strong top ten in ninth position after ricovering from the nineteenth position where he finished after going wide in the first laps and after departing 11th on the grid.
After the UK round the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team will be back out on track from 8th to 10th June 2018 at Brno Circuit in Czech Republic for the seventh round of the season.
